I was a bit skeptical on how sturdy these steps would be but with the lids closed right and the base supporting the bottoms, these stairs are VERY sturdy and firm. The lids have cushions and the fabric doesn’t look cheap. You can put a lot of your furbaby’s miscellaneous stuff such as food, treats, and toys in EACH of the steps and they break apart if you want to just use two or one. I am going to buy one more stairs for our living room so my little maltese doesn’t jump off the bed or couch anymore. Highly recommend!!!
